FAKE KING OF SCOTS FLEES TO BELGIUM

Michael Lafosse (who has styled himself spuriously as "HRH Prince Michael of Albany" for 30 years) has been exposed many times as fraudulent in his claims. It seems the deception of his false birth certificates has finally been his undoing, as the Home Office investigates. The result has been his flight back to Belgium. Though this is welcome news, he has done much damage to the prospects of the Restoration of the legitimate King of Scots, through years of spreading misinformation and outright lies (whilst also claiming that the genuine, recognised descent of King Francis II was a "Hanoverian deception" to conceal his own supposed descent from Bonnie Prince Charlie! 8th July 2006 will see the tenth anniversary of King Francis II's accession to his Royal Rights & Prerogatives as de jure King of Scots: the O.L.R. is working toward minting a coin in the style of 16th Century Scots Legal tender to commemorate the decade of his reign. A Special Limited Number will be available.

In one of a series of articles on The Royal House of Wittelsbach, in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung on this date, much information had been gleaned from our website on the King's Scottish Rights and Titles. It included a reference to the title 'Pharaohnic Prince of Egypt', which gave curious readers a Google search result leading to us. These articles are to be published in book form in March:

Our new Lapel Badges (which accurately reproduces the emblem of the Order) are received by each Member on joining. We encourage Members to wear them to promote the Order and generate enquiry and interest in the Cause.

EVENTS & CONFERENCES
There is currently a tentative proposal for an OLR Conference to be held in May 2007
The next OLR Conference is planned to take place in Dun Eideann (Edinburgh) once sufficient numbers have registered.
